    We are visiting Disney for our 1st time 0910-0917. We have reservations at T-Rex at 12n on Sun. and would like to get to Hollywood Studios asap after lunch. What is the best way to get there and how do we handle parking and storage of our purchases? TY!

    Hi, Melissa!  Welcome to Walt Disney World!   Lunch at T-REX sounds like a lot of fun!  

    I'm not sure by your question if you have a car or not.  If you have a car, just follow the signs as you exit Downtown Disney and they will lead you to Hollywood Studios (10 -15 minute drive.)   Parking is free for resort guests (you will be given a parking pass at check-in.)   If you are staying off property, theme park parking is $12 per day (all prices subject to change.)  

    If you do not have a car, you need to know that buses do not run directly to the theme parks from Downtown Disney.   So my best suggestion is to walk over to Saratoga Springs (about a 15 minute walk) then catch a Hollywood Studios bus from there.

    We have also just walked to the bus stop at Downtown Disney, and taken the first resort bus that comes by.   When we reach that resort, we wait for a Hollywood Studios bus (kind of a fun adventure to see what resort you are heading to!)

    And your packages:  If you are staying at a Disney Resort, you can ask that your packages be sent back to your resort, free of charge!    Just let them know when you are checking out that you want your goodies delivered.   If you are staying off property, you will need to take your items with you and you can put them in a locker when you arrive at the Studios.
