Welcome to planDisney, Joseph!
WOW! You are going to have such a magical holiday season — I hope you enjoy visiting Disney World at the end of this year! Be sure to watch the
Disney Parks Blog for all of the updates on the horizon for the holiday season!
While there is no way to perfectly predict which theme park is going to be the least crowded, I am going to do my very best to channel my inner Madame Leota to give you my opinion on what I believe will be the best way to plan your visit with your 4-day ticket with park hoppers! (Again, I stress that this is just my best guess based on crowd calendars I trust in addition to my own personal opinion and my intuition based on trends.)
Here is what I would do if I were traveling identically to you, Joseph:
-For 12/24/2025, I would start by visiting Animal Kingdom. Animal Kingdom historically shows lower overall crowd levels compared to the other parks during peak holiday dates. Christmas Eve (December 24) will likely be busy at all of the parks, but Animal Kingdom tends to be a little less concentrated.
-For 12/25/2025, I would begin at EPCOT. Surprisingly, EPCOT usually hosts slightly better crowd levels on Christmas Day than Hollywood Studios or Magic Kingdom.
-For 12/26/2025, I would choose Hollywood Studios. The trends I see often have more concentrated crowds at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT on the day after Christmas (Boxing Day).
-For 12/27/2025, I would start my day at Magic Kingdom. Crowds usually begin to spread out after the holiday peak. Yes, it will still be a little busier — but I believe it will be noticeably better on this day.
Remember to utilize any Early Entry Hours or Extended Evening Hours you may have if you’re staying at a Disney World hotel, Joseph! And watch wait times on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App during the days so you can hop to other parks if their wait times are preferable to the park you started at!
