I will be visiting Disney in September and at this time I will be training for a half marathon. Is there a good place to run on the Disney grounds that I can get my runs in while vacationing with my family?

    Hi Melissa!

Running at Walt Disney World is my favorite place to run...whether it's on a training run or an actual race.

There are plenty of jogging/running trails around Disney.  You can find some more information about them on the Disney World website.

I also recently made a video highlighting three of my favorite running trails for the Disney Parks Blog.  You can actually see some of the trails on that link.

Stop at the front desk of your resort to get maps of the running trails that you want.  You can also Google "Disney World Running Trails" and it will pull up some maps people have posted.  You will want to check at your resort when you get there to see if those are still currently open, but it's a great way to see different trails and choose the one that fits your needs.

I hope your training goes well!  Be sure to check out the runDisney website and consider adding one of those races to your calendar!
