Hi we are visiting Disney in September I have 2 daughters over the age of 3 and a son who’s 2 so is classed as an infant. As he doesn’t have a dining plan when I make reservations for dining do I have to include him in the party number to book? Thanks

    Hi, there!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michael. I'm so glad you stopped by!

You are going to have such a special visit with three kiddos in tow. There's little better than watching your children experience the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort! I'm glad you asked this question about your littlest one. While your son is under the age of 3 and ineligible for the Disney Dining Plan, you will need to include him in the total number of Guests in your party when you make your dining reservations.

As a mom of three, I especially love making dining reservations for Character Dining Experiences during our Disney vacations. These unique meals are extra great because I know my little ones will enjoy kid-friendly food AND the company of their favorite Disney characters, all in the same place! Our absolute favorites include Chef Mickey's, Tusker House Restaurant, Hollywood & Vine, and The Crystal Palace. Many of these restaurants are buffets or all-you-can-eat style, and since your little guy is under the age of 3, he may eat for free!

Michael, if you have any other questions about dining or traveling with little ones, please let me know. I'd love to help you plan a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
