Hi Katherine!
I recently got a chance to see experience Magic Kingdom Park's newest nighttime spectacular,
Happily Ever After. Oh. My. Goodness. It's AMAZING! Not only does it feature two of my very favorite Disney songs, "Out There" from Disney's
The Hunchback of Notre Dame and "Go The Distance" from Disney's
Hercules, but also an awesome brand new theme song by Jordan Fisher and Angie Keilhauer.
In my opinion, there's really not a bad viewing spot for the Happily Ever After show, as long as you can fully see Cinderella Castle. The gorgeous castle projections are not to be missed! Anywhere around the Hub (the large central plaza in front of the castle) will provide a good view of the show. If you get
too close to the castle, you won't get the full effect of the fireworks as they burst overhead, so I usually like to position myself at least as far back as the Partners Statue (the large statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse in the center of the Hub). As a big fan of Tinkerbell's flight, I prefer to find a spot toward the Tomorrowland side of the Hub, because that's the side of the castle where Tink begins her flight. It's such a breathtaking moment when she soars overhead, waving her wand and spreading pixie dust as she goes!
I hope this helps, and you find the perfect spot to enjoy Happily Ever After! For a reserved viewing spot, you could consider booking a
Fireworks Dessert Party, which provides Guests with a buffet of delicious sweet treats before they enjoy the fireworks from a priority reserved viewing location.
Have a magical day! - Diane W.
