    We are visiting disney in Sept and staying at Old Key West - will they mail magic bands to me or do we buy our own?

    Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I love that you're visiting Walt Disney World in September (one of my favorite times of the year) and staying at Disney's Old Key West Resort (one of my favorite resorts). I can still remember our amazing breakfast at Olivia's Cafe and our fun day at the Sandcastle Pool.

    Guests who stay at a Disney Resort hotel — and this includes a Disney Deluxe Villa like Disney's Old Key West Resort — will automatically receive a MagicBand. If you choose to customize your MagicBand by selecting your MagicBand color (purple, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, pink, or gray) and adding a personalized name then your MagicBands will be mailed to you (quick tip: make sure you complete your customization at least 11 days before you are scheduled to arrive). If it so happens that you don't customize your MagicBands, you can still receive your non-customized MagicBands when you check in to your Resort (quick tip: the standard non-customized MagicBand is gray). You can also shop for MagicBands online at Shop DisneyParks. Yet another option is to purchase a MagicBand at merchandise locations around Walt Disney World such as Emporium at Magic Kingdom, Mouse Gear at Epcot, and Marketplace Co-Op - D-Tech on Demand at Disney Springs. You can also visit the MagicBand on Demand customization station at Magic Kingdom in the Space Mountain merchandise area.
