We will be visiting Disney in Sept for the first time. We are not big on planning every minute of our vacations so I am kind of at a loss on knowing where and when to plan meals and park visits. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

No worries William! Walt Disney World can be enjoyed by detailed planners and go with the flow vacationers alike. In September the peak summer heat and crowds will be gone so it is a great month to visit.

If you would like to eat a meal with characters you will need reservations. Peruse your choices and make reservations at Dining and Reservations. You can also call (407) 939-3463 to book a table. Plan to coincide park visits with restaurants. For example if you plan a Winnie the Pooh meal at the Magic Kingdom's Crystal Palace enjoy this classic park the same day as your dining reservation.

Are you staying at a Walt Disney World Resort? If so take advantage of Extra Magic Hours. These additional times the theme parks are open for resort guests are a great benefit. On the day Disney's Hollywood Studios opens an hour early or remains open a few hours late for Extra Magic Hours is the date you might like to visit the park to take advantage of the bonus time.

Always wanted to conquer Space Mountain, gaze at Cinderella Castle, or love the tune "it's a small world"? Then visit the Magic Kingdom first. Star Wars fanatic? Head over to Disney's Hollywood Studios to travel the galaxy on Star Tours immediately. Love exotic African animals? First stop Disney's Animal Kingdom. Let your wishes and interests help guide your itinerary.

Ask me an additional question with more information so I can better help you. Are you traveling with children? What are their ages and interests? Disney Dining Plan? What resort? The Moms Panel wants you to have the most magical vacation possible!
