Hi Eric!
This is such a great question! A visit to Walt Disney World doesn't have to be park-only days and adding a tour is a great way to add a little extra magic to your trip.
There are so many tours to choose from, so I'll tell you a few of my favorites. My first is the
Wild Africa Trek at Disney's Animal Kingdom. If your family is wild for adventure, this is a great tour to do together. This tour takes you through the Safi River Valley where you will be up close to some of the animal residents. The tour also includes an African-inspired snack kit and complimentary photos taken by your guides throughout the trek.
One of the recent tours I've taken was
Caring for Giants, also at Animal Kingdom. This tour gives you a closer look at the elephants that you typically see on the Kilimanjaro Safari attraction.
Another tour at Animal Kingdom is
Up Close with Rhinos. The name is very suiting since you really do get up close with these beautiful animals. Fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist, Crystal, took her family recently and were able to touch them!
The
Behind the Seeds tour at Epcot is a very interesting tour where your family can go into the Living with the Land attraction and check out the greenhouses and Disney's way of growing food that is used in the restaurants of Walt Disney World!
You can't go wrong with any of the Walt Disney World tours. Picking one is the hardest part!
Have a magical day!
Leslie
