Hi Robert! Welcome to planDisney!
Hot Diggity Dog! A second Walt Disney World trip is on the books! I remember back when I returned from my first trip, a second one was already in the planning stages. And the beauty of our next trip was that we had a completely different experience than the first one since there is so much to see and do while you are there!
I'm so happy that
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is reopening at the Norway Pavilion in EPCOT. I was able to dine here before its closure, and my little ones had an amazing time meeting and interacting with each of the princesses. You'll be able to make
Advanced Dining Reservations 60 days in advance of your visit. Depending on what day during your trip you plan to eat here, set a reminder at the 60-day mark.
Robert, if you are staying in a Disney Resorts Hotel during your stay, you'll have an advantage during the booking process. Guests with a valid Disney Resort reservation can
make dining reservations for their entire length of stay up to 60-days in advance. With your arrival date being May 22nd, you'll be able to make all of your dining reservations 60-days in advance of this date. For example, if you plan to dine at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall on the third day of your trip, you'll be able to make this reservation 63-days in advance, which will give you a leg up on securing this reservation.
I would recommend making this dining experience a priority when the booking window opens up. With this dining location being closed for almost 2-1/2 years, I anticipate it being a popular pick for many in the new year.
If you are looking for any additional recommendations for character dining, the breakfast at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera is a great choice. Between the ambiance, food, and character interactions, this experience is hard to top!
Robert, I hope you have a magical vacation next year!
Stop back and see us again at planDisney!
Happy planning!
