Visiting Disney on business….on my own. I would love to visit the hotels- - an on my own type tour- that I have yet to see. What would be the top three or so …. with interesting shops, sightseeing and perhaps entertainment….

    Hello Lucille,
I have to say I'm more than a little envious of you being able to enjoy some solo Resort hopping during a business trip to Walt Disney World Resort, it's something I'd absolutely love to do!
Here just for you and in no particular order are my top 5 Disney Resorts to visit -
1:Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge; just by stepping inside of this stunningly beautiful Resort can instantly transport Guests to the African Continent. Be sure to check out the animals roaming the savanna and the unusual merchandise for sale in the gift store.
2:Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort; this oasis of tranquility can be found by taking a leisurely ferry boat ride from the marina near the entrance to the Magic Kingdom Park. Be sure to take a peek at the horses who call the Tri-Circle-D Ranch home.
3 & 4:Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts; a stroll around these delightful Resorts is a must, perhaps you could indulge in an ice-cream treat from Beaches & Cream Soda Shop?
5:Disney's Grand Floridan Resort & Spa; last but certainly not least comes the magnificent Victorian splendour of this deluxe Resort, it's easy to find a spot to sit and relax in the spacious lobby. Perhaps you may even get to listen to the beautiful melodies of the live orchestra who sometimes entertain Guests here.
    Have a great Disney day.
