Hi Lindsey!
Thank you for visiting planDisney with a question about your October Walt Disney World Resort trip. Fall is one of my favorite times to visit as there are so many great
events and activities to take part in.
Speaking of activities,
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is amazing! There are oodles of recreational activities at the resort, so we find a new experience every visit. As far as your question goes, if you book a Walt Disney World vacation package, each person on your resort reservation would need to have the same number of theme park tickets. Also, each person staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground does need to be listed on the reservation. You would either need to book the same amount of tickets for each person, or book your campsite reservation and theme park tickets separately and not together in a
Walt Disney World vacation package. Although you won't be able to book a
dining plan without a vacation package, occasionally there are room-only
special offers available.
Since you'll be there in October, check out the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE®. The global marketplaces boast delicious dishes from each country. Where else can you spend an afternoon eating and drinking your way around the world? I just adore it! My family laughs at me because I research each global marketplace prior to our visit and note which ones I definitely want to visit. With so many amazing options, I just want to make sure I have plenty of room left! The
My Disney Experience Mobile App also offers a guide to keep track of each festival location.
We also adore
Character Dining Experiences, and in October, Minnie Mouse hosts a spooktacular feast during Minnie's Halloween Dine at
Hollywood & Vine. The characters are decked out in their finest Halloween outfits!
As you can see there is so much to see and do, so I know you'll have a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Lindsey. If there are any other planning questions we can assist you with, please let us know.
Magical Wishes,
Lauren
