We will be visiting Disney in October, and although we have been there before we have never gone to the water parks. My daughter will be 8 and my son will be 7. Which water park is recommended for their ages? Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon? Thank you!

No worries Eleanor! No matter which water park you choose you and your kids will be enthralled and delighted. Don't you wish all choices in life had only fabulous answers?

Spend the day at a quickly melting ski resort at Disney's Blizzard Beach. Bob in the pool, float down the lazy river, tube down Runoff Rapids, or pile the whole family into a raft on Teamboat Springs. While this park is famous for the thrilling Summet Plummet ski jump slide your kids might not be quite ready for, Blizzard Beach also offers the Ski Patrol Training section perfect for a seven and eight year old.

Prepare to be blown away by Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. The Surf Pool here produces six foot high waves! Snorkel with sharks, relax as you flow down the lazy river, or head down Gangplank falls on a family tube. Typhoon Lagoon is home to my favorite water park attraction on the planet- Crush 'n' Gusher.

Remember good choices abound at Walt Disney World so you will adore either water park. Enjoy your day to splash and play!
