We will be visiting Disney Oct 25-Nov 1 2008. If we choose not to buy tickets to the Mickey's Halloween party at the Magic Kingdom, can we still go on the rides during that time or does the park only open for the halloween party? Also how much are tickets?

    Hi Kelley,

Unfortunately, you are not able to stay and enjoy any of the attractions or benefits to this special separate ticket event.  If you have not been to "Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party" before, this is a real hoot!  You will be able to dress up in costumes and enjoy trick-or-treating at stations located throughout the park as well as Halloween themed "special" fireworks and also a "special" parade.  The characters also dress up for this occasion, showing that they are true "Spooksters".  There are so many fun things to do and I won't let the cat out of the bag...but there is a headless horseman that has been spotted here!  You can expect to pay anywhere from $32.00 up to $49.00 according to the pricing of last years (October/November 2007) event.  Prices are subject to change and do fluctuate according to "Advanced purchase discounts or Gate admission pricing" on the day of the event.  There are so many variables here that it is hard to give a solid price for ticket purchase.  I will let you know that tickets are subject to availability (especially Gate sales) and many nights do sell out in advance.  Have a Spooktacular time if you decide to attend!
