We're visiting Disney from NS Canada May 28th & won't be telling our daughter until the morning we leave. She will turn 5 on the May 30th so she will be spending her birthday at Disney World. Any suggestions on how we can break the news to her?

    Hi Angela!

Wow...what a lucky little girl you have.  She is in for such a treat, getting to spend her birthday at Disney World.  I would gather some pictures Disney themed pictures, or have the web-site http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/ ready to go on your computer, then I would sit down with her and let her know that you won't be home to celebrate her birthday.  Give it a pause so she starts to wonder and then "break" the news to her, she won't be home for her birthday because she'll be in Disney World!!!!!
    Have a camera ready...
Make sure that you visit guest services to pick up her "Birthday Celebration Button"

Have an incredible and magical time.
