    Hi. We are visiting Disney in November (9-13) and can't get a reservation for a character meal. Any suggestions? I had no idea this would be necessary - any help/suggestions/tricks for getting around, would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Nikki

    Hi Nikki,

    I am so sorry to hear that you are having trouble trying to secure a reservation at a Character meal during your upcoming visit.

    My best advice to you would be to check the online dining reservation system for availability each and every day from now until leaving home for Walt Disney World. Cancellations do occur and in my past experience perseverance has paid off.

    Should you not be able to obtain a dining reservation before your trip, I would suggest that you try again when you arrive at your Resort hotel - you never know your luck.

    I will be keeping my fingers firmly crossed for you and if all else fails, there are lots of opportunities to meet the Disney characters at each of the four theme parks. Be sure to pick up a Times Guide as you enter each of the parks and check the Character Greetings section for information on when and where you will be able to meet them on the particular day of your visit.
