Hi, Ginger! Welcome to planDisney!
A
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is certainly something to be thankful for! Many Walt Disney World Resort
restaurants offer a special Thanksgiving menu each year; however, specific information on holiday menus typically is not announced until closer to Turkey Day. I'm sure you want to get your dining reservations squared away soon, so I'm happy to share a suggestion with you.
My family and I will also be visiting Walt Disney World Resort for Thanksgiving this year, so I did a quick internet search to see which restaurants offered a Thanksgiving menu last year. I booked a reservation at a restaurant that has been known to serve Thanksgiving dinner in the past. Now I'm keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog to see when this year's Thanksgiving menus are announced. If my chosen restaurant isn't serving Thanksgiving dinner this year, I will either try to make a last-minute reservation change or my family will simply enjoy a nontraditional holiday feast.
You can visit with some of your Disney pals at all four Walt Disney World theme parks. I recommend taking a look at the list of
character experiences on the Walt Disney World Resort website to see where your favorite characters will be greeting Guests. Character experiences can also be found using your
My Disney Experience mobile app. To locate characters using your app, click on the map icon at the bottom of your screen, then select "Characters" from the map's drop-down menu.
As you get ready for your trip, I recommend having your daughter explore all of the
attractions and entertainment options on the Walt Disney World Resort website to create a list of must-do experiences. Everyone's list of must-do attractions will be different based on their own unique likes and interests. I'm a big fan of all the
Disney thrills, and my top four Walt Disney World Resort attractions are
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind,
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance,
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and
TRON Lightcyle / Run presented by Enterprise.
If your daughter is a fan of immersive storytelling and thrill rides, I think she'll love these can't-miss attractions as well. Be sure to read about
virtual queues,
Disney Genie+ service, and
Individual Lightning Lane entry to learn the best ways to access these attractions. If you need more information about this or have any additional vacation planning questions, please
stop by planDisney again any time.
See ya real soon!
Samantha
