Hello, Florence!
Thanksgiving season is such a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World, and I think you've come up with the perfect plan for Friday, before getting your park passes, too!
The holiday spirit is everywhere at the WDW resorts, but by favorite holiday resort activity is taking the monorail to view the various gingerbread displays, most especially the infamous gingerbread house at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. A perennial tradition, Guests will specifically head to see this culinary wonder. Take a look at this
Disney Parks Blog post about the seasonal displays; you'll wish you could head there tomorrow!
Don't forget that Downtown Disney is an unticketed venue, too, but will also be filled with holiday spirit and happenings as well. Take a look at the activities described in
Festival of the Seasons, and consider visiting DD that day as well. (Keep in mind, though, that that is "Black Friday" when most shopping areas are crazy crowded.)
Have a wonderful holiday visit to WDW! Be sure to send more questions as you think of them, too. I love to help!
