We will be visiting Disney when the new movie 'Brave' opens. Is Disney planning anything special that day to commemorate the opening? Thanks!

    Hi Kimberly!

This is a great question.  I'm really looking forward to the movie opening myself!

Disney has not announced if they will do anything special on opening day.  However, you can already meet Merida from the movie in the Disney Parks.  At Walt Disney World, Merida has begun making special appearances at Fairytale Garden in Magic Kingdom Park. In this setting, young guests are invited to engage in archery practice and other activities, in addition to meeting Merida and mischievous bear cubs from the film.

I hear the bear cubs are particularly engaging, but I haven't had a chance to try this out for myself yet.  I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
