We are visiting Disney with our nanny, staying in separate resorts - family at one, and nanny at another. Do the resorts need a credit card just to check in? We are paying for nanny but obviously won't be checking in at same place and she doesn't have one

Hi Jessica! A credit card is required at the time of check-in for Walt Disney World Resort hotels. The credit card can be authorized to accept purchases made with the Key to the World Card and will be charged for any incidentals that occur during the stay. If you made the reservation and it is in your name, then you will need to be present at check-in, even though it is your Nanny's guest room. If you will not be available to check-in with your Nanny, then I recommend that you make the reservation in her name and check-in online with your credit card information, so that any charges will be made to your credit card during her stay. Online check-in is available 10 days prior to your arrival. You have the option of submitting your credit card during online check-in and you will not have to present to credit card again once you arrive at the Resort hotel. Your Nanny will only need to go to the Online check-in desk when she arrives at the Resort hotel, present her photo ID and retrieve her Welcome Packet that includes the Key to the World Card and Resort map. Have a Magical Vacation!
