Hi, I will be visiting Disney with my 9 month old. Just worried what rides I can take him to and what is the baby swap at rides?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rabia!

I'm so glad that we can answer your question since you're arriving for your vacation today! I want to assure you that Walt Disney World Resort is a place for families to have fun together and that includes your son even though he's just nine months old. There are a lot of gentle boat rides, slow-moving attractions, and fantastic shows to enjoy with plenty of bright colors and familiar music that he's going to love. Here is a list of all of the attractions that are safe for guests of any height, including Mickey Mouse's tiniest guests. There are more than 100 attractions on this list, so there's plenty to choose from! Some of them are a little more thrilling or have some scary elements, like Haunted Mansion or It's Tough To Be A Bug!, so you may want to have a look at the list and use your judgment to decide what your son will like best. Magic Kingdom Park is going to be perfect for your family because you'll all be able to enjoy classics together like "it's a small world", Jungle Cruise, or The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

Of course, there are going to be some attractions that you're going to want to ride that your son won't be ready for yet and that's where Rider Switch is going to come into play for your family. You'll be able to split your party into two riding groups so one group can ride an attraction with a height restriction while someone stays behind to look after your son. When the first group is finished riding, the second group can enter the attraction through the FastPass+ queue so your group doesn't have to wait in the standby line twice. If you want to use Rider Switch at a participating attraction, let the Cast Member at the podium know so they can set it up for you using your MagicBand or your ticket. You'll be issued a return time that will pop up in your My Disney Experience app alongside the rest of your plans. That way, your son will always have someone to watch him but no one will have to miss out on their favorite attractions!

I hope this answers your question, Rabia, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
