We will be visiting disney with our 21 month old son from November 8th thru the 12th. We need to know the best place and time to meet Mickey? Can you help with that? I would hate to keep telling him that we are gonna see Mickey and not meet him.

    Hi Brian,

Congratulations on your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World!

I completely understand your need to get the full details on Mickey's location. We first took our son to WDW at the age of 2 and getting to see Mickey was tops on our list as well!

You'll have a few options. On our first night, we went to dinner at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort. The first character our son saw was Goofy walking around the restaurant. We figured if Goofy in all his extreme tallness made him smile that we were pretty safe to introduce him to more characters. Mickey circulates the tables each evening so only hours after arriving WDW, our son was already giving the famous mouse a big hug!

If you are headed to the Magic Kingdom on your first morning, Mickey will only be steps away from the entrance.

Take your son to the Town Square Theater where Mickey greets all his fans from 9:00 a.m. until one hour before park closing. A visit here to Mickey's dressing room is a must for the young and young-at-heart!
