Hi, Vicky, or as they say on the planet of Batuu, "Bright suns!"
With the opening of
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, this fall is certain to be an exciting time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! I had the opportunity to experience Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland Resort a few weeks ago, and I was blown away by the level of detail in this immersive new land. I would have to say my favorite part of my adventure at Black Spire Outpost was piloting the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy on
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Talk about a childhood dream come true!
Vicky, you heard correctly. When Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens at Disney's Hollywood Studios,
FastPass+ will not initially be offered for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. At this time, there has been no mention of when the FastPass+ system might be utilized at Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog to catch all the latest news and announcements regarding the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
Of course, when Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens, the land and its experiences will be subject to capacity restrictions. However, if you are staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you will have the opportunity to begin your Star Wars adventure ahead of other guests with the
extra, Extra Magic Hours benefit. From September 1 to November 2, 2019, Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guests will have exclusive access to Disney's Hollywood Studios each morning from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. In addition to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge,
Toy Story Land and select other attractions will also be available during extra, Extra Magic Hours.
Before you travel to the planet Batuu, be sure to download the
Play Disney Parks mobile app to enhance your adventures in Black Spire Outpost. This will be the perfect way for you to pass the time as you wait to set out on your mission aboard the Falcon.
May the Force be with you!
