We will be visiting Disney this May and I was wondering the best place to eat dinner at Animal Kingdom.. we haven't never been before so I am wondering which quick serve restaurants are a must and offer a full meal option.

    Hi Andrea,

Harambe Market at Animal Kingdom is now my family's go-to spot for a quick service meal. The market is a fully themed food court in Africa, not far from the exit of Kilimanjaro Safaris. We're big fans of the Grilled Vegetable Stack and the Karubi Ribs. You can also get grilled chicken kabobs, a gyro flatbread, chicken tikki masala and other meals. Check out the menu here.

Harambe Market has outdoor dining on picnic tables, many of them shaded.

If you are looking for something a little less exotic, I'd recommend Flame Tree Barbecue. The ribs, chicken and pulled pork sampler is excellent to share, and there's a nice selection of lighter fare, such as a salad with roasted chicken breast and a smoked turkey sandwich. You'll find the menu here. Flame Tree has an abundance of seating, much of it tucked away in a quiet, shady place near the Discovery River.

There are a number of options available at kiosks throughout the park, and several table service options, but these are our favorite quick service spots. The full list is available here.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Andrea. Please let us know if you have any other questions about dining, parks, attractions, resorts and more as you finalize your Walt Disney World vacation plans. Enjoy!
