Hello we are visiting Disney in may and before we purchase our tickets i need to know if they’re any options for wheelchairs when ordering the tickets? X

Lynnr, thanks for stopping by with your question about wheelchair availability. Getting around the parks is important for everyone, and I can help guide you to where you can find these locations at each park.

Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is always and grand time for all. And each day brings a new set of travels. Whether you can walk the entire World Showcase twice over or need the aid of a wheelchair, Disney has programs in place to make sure everyone has a magical time. You can always do daily rentals but the way to go is a length-of-stay rental and each day you show your receipt and you can pick up your rental for the day. For example, if you are visiting Magic Kingdom Park you can visit Mickey's Gift Station at the Ticket & Transportation Center. There you will be able to find wheelchair rentals. Each park has a section where you can pick up your rentals. Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort has a pickup location to the right of the main entrance and looks for Garden Gate Gifts. EPCOT has two pickup locations, the first is located to the left of Spaceship Earth. Directly across from Gateway Gifts. The second is located at the International Gateway entrance. Just on the inside after you scan your DisneyBands there is a location called World Traveler where you can grab your rental. Finally last but not least is Disney's Hollywood Studios when you arrive you can see a nifty little gas station over to the right. Oscar's Super Service is the place to get your set of wheels for the day. Please keep in mind rentals are first come first served. So be sure to get to the parks early to ensure you have your rental for the day.

I hope your visit to "The Most Magical Place on Earth" is awesome. Please visit us again at planDisney if you have other questions or need any other advice for your trip.

    Safe Travels,
