We are visiting Disney in May. We will be doing a split stay between Pop Century and Swan. We have done spit stays in the past so I know Disney handles transferring luggage from one resort to another. Does this extend to the Swan/Dolphin/Swan Reserve?

Hi Susan! Welcome to planDisney! I'm excited about your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! May is a great time to come down and partake in all of the Spring offerings! Make sure to check out the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! It's an aesthetically beautiful yet delicious festival to explore!

My family and I love doing a split stay when the opportunity comes up. Being able to stay at two resorts on the same vacation allows you to experience even more fun. For us, it feels as if you have multiple vacations happening on the same trip. Most of the time, each resort hotel will be themed differently and will have unique recreation and amenity options. This is especially true when comparing Disney's Pop Century Resort and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels. Disney's Pop Century will be brighter and louder while the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel will be a bit more laid back and relaxing. Each has an amazing location with various transportation options at your fingertips.

Walt Disney World has made switching hotels extremely easy to manage. As you are aware, Disney can transfer a Guest's luggage between two Disney Resorts Collection hotels. This benefit is also extended to Guests transferring to and from the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve Hotels. On the day of your transfer, simply bring your bags down to Bell Services at Disney's Pop Century Resort and notify them of what hotel they need to be transferred to. Bell Services will take care of the rest. Once you arrive at your new hotel, you will need to contact Bell Services there to have your luggage brought up to your room.

Susan, I hope you have a magical vacation on your upcoming visit! Enjoy your stay at both of these resorts and stop back anytime to planDisney! I'm looking forward to hearing from you again!

    See ya real soon!
