I am visiting Disney this March and I am training for a Marathon. I will be there for a week and need to stay on schedule with my training. Do you know what the best long distance running trails are? I would be interested in running the actual course, too.

    Hi Lindsey!

Way to go! Congratulations on training for a marathon. That is quite the accomplishment and I definitely understand your desire to stay on track and keep the momentum going while on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

While a full marathon course isn't available, you will find several New Balance Running Trails throughout property. While most are loops of about 1-mile or less, you can find more challenging trails in the Epcot Resort Area ranging from 2 to 4 miles. Disney's BoardWalk is a beautiful location for an early morning run. It's serene and peaceful and just so pretty as the sun rises over the resorts. While you can't beat running through the magical outdoor locations, if you need a few more miles, most moderate and deluxe resorts also offer fitness centers with treadmills available.

Have fun training, Lindsey, and enjoy the rest of your practically perfect vacation. If there is anything else we are able to assist you with, please let us know.
