Hello, We are visiting Disney in March for our very first time!! We have a three year old son and currently have plans to stay at Carribean Beach but we are also considering the Fort Wilderness Lodge?? What one would you recommend for the three of us??

    Hello Amy!

Your first visit will be here before you know it!  I am also the mom of a three year-old, and given the choice between Caribbean Beach and Wilderness Lodge Resort, I would choose Wilderness Lodge!

You can't beat the location-it's just a quick boat ride to the Magic Kingdom, which is where you'll probably spend most of your park time with a preschooler!  It's also nice because you can easily sneak back to the resort for some pool time or for a nap in the afternoon.

Wilderness Lodge Resort has a great pool with a perfectly pint sized splash area, a nightly campfire sing-a-long with Chip n' Dale, and the Cub's Den, a supervised activity center where your child can hang out and have fun while you enjoy some adult-only time at Artist Point or any where else you choose!  I also think the theme and grandness of Wilderness Lodge captures the imagination of little ones and leaves them in awe!  Don't forget to check out Fire Rock Geyser for some great photo opportunities! If your child is anything like mine, he'll get a huge kick out of watching the water gush up out of the ground!

Wishing you the most magical of first visits,
    Ashley
