Hi! We are visiting Disney in late August through early September. Its is our first time visiting with our kids and i was just wondering what the weather is like that time of year at night? Do we need to bring pants and jackets?

Hi Stephanie, that time of year is very hot in Florida.  The highs are in the 90s and the lows in the 70s.  That said, I don't believe the lows.  It's very humid (even at night) so light clothing is a must throughout the day and pretty appropriate at night too.  Shorts are the way to go.  I always took a change of clothes into the Parks with me for the kids.  Simply because they got dirty, wet on some of the rides, and really sweaty.  I also took light jackets for evening because although my husband and I  found that a lot of the restaurants were deliciously air conditioned, the kids would sit on top of us because they were cold.  Make sure to take sunscreen, a hat, and a lot of cold water bottles to keep hydrated.  Also, it rains a lot, so make sure to bring your rain ponchos so you can continue walking around the Parks.  I'm sure you're going to have a wonderful time on your first Disney vacation!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
