We are visiting Disney in late April for my two kids’ birthdays and wanted to do BBB or Pirates League for their bday. My son won’t turn 3 for another month though… is there any possibility he’d still be able to participate in an experience like this?

    Ahoy Matey!

Welcome to planDisney! Sounds like we have a royal visit planned with a prince and princess who are ready for a swashbuckling adventure at the Walt Disney World® Resort! I understand how demanding visiting royalty can be so I suggest that you bring your son's royal and pirate attire with you. Have him dressed when you take your daughter to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom. While this experience is for guests 3-years old and up, you could potentially bring him as a guest with you to watch (each visiting royal guest may currently have up to two guests accompany them). Before or after the appointment, take your son to explore the royal surroundings outside of the castle. I also suggest making an advanced dining reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table and visiting with the princesses at Princess Fairytale Hall.

Unfortunately, The Pirates League is not currently available. But fear not, your son can test his pirate fortitude on Pirates of the Caribbean and with other pirate adventures while at Magic Kingdom. What I love about Disney is that cast members make the magic. When our girls were dressed as Disney princesses, cast members would greet them with a "hello princess!" The girls loved the royal treatment and I am sure your son will as well. As you continue to do your research, just keep in mind that experience offerings could change by the time of your visit, so I always double-check as we get closer to the dates of our trip!

Tiffany, you can also celebrate the birthday with a cake order and be sure to note the birthday celebration on all of your dining reservations. We have been so grateful for all of the ways cast members recognized our birthdays while we have been in the parks and resorts. Of course, if you would like a truly spectacular birthday event, particularly if you have a group visiting with you, consider one of the Custom-Designed Celebrations & Gatherings. My family travels on a budget, so we celebrate in small but mighty ways and I have learned that magic comes in all sizes at the Walt Disney World® Resort!

    Magic and memories,
