We are visiting Disney in June and our daughter will be 21 months. I'm a little worried about feeding her because she is allergic to eggs and since you can't get the dining plan for kids under 2, I can't order her anything special. Any tips?

    Hi Carissa,

Disney does a great job accommodating guests with allergies.  When you make your dining reservations, be sure to note that someone in your party has a food allergy.  It doesn't matter if the child is under 2, since you still include them in your reservation number.  Also, be sure to let your server know that your child has a food allergy.  If you're dining at a buffet, the chef will usually walk around with you and point out all of the things that are safe to eat.  At regular table service meals, they will point out things you can order or prepare something that your child can eat.  If you didn't want to order a separate meal for her, simply order an adult size entree for yourself and share.

Whether dining at a table-service restaurant or a quick-service restaurant, food allergies can be addressed as long as you bring it to the restaurants attention.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
