We are visiting Disney Florida in July and I am now making my park reservations. We have hopper tickets - do I need to reserve the park I am hopping to after 2 p.m.?

Hello there Karen and welcome to planDisney!

Some of my favorite experiences during a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation involve talking to and making waiting-in-line friends with other Guests from all over the world. And with all the chaos of the last couple of years, it brings a tear to my eye to be helping you plan for your visit from across the pond. But before I get too weepy, let's talk Park Hopper Option and what it means for you and your travel party!

Currently, a Ticket with Park Hopper Option does allow you to switch parks after 2 p.m. But you only need to make that Theme Park Reservation via the Disney Park Pass System for your very first Disney Park of the day. When it's time to hop, you just head over to your next park. So if you want to search for jewels on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in the morning and save the galaxy with some sweet tunes over at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind( which will be blasting off this month) in the afternoon, you go right ahead!

Karen, you have the best time on your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth this summer. Don't miss the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival which will be within its first week of opening during your stay!

    Happy planning!
