I am visiting Disney for the first time with my three little girls and my husband, and I am wondering how much the food for the kids usually cost at quick service locations? and how do you budget meals while in the parks without breaking bank? Thanks!

    Hi Jessica,

So glad you are planning a family vacation to Walt Disney World Resort for this coming summer. How exciting!

How much to budget for meals has always been a question we had. Some sites like touringplans.com may report prices on favorite items, but these are subject to change and may not correct. It seems like an impossible task, right? No more!

The Disney Dining Plans are the best way to leave home those worries about meal budgets and simply incorporate them as part of a Magic Your Way Vacation Package. Then, the only thing you'll need to worry about is what restaurant to choose. So many options!

My family prefers the Disney Dining Plan, which for 2017 it gives you one Table-Service meal, one Quick-Service meal, and two Snacks, per person, per night of stay. We typically use a Snack for a quick breakfast, have a nice and convenient Quick-Service lunch, and enjoy a delicious Table-Service meal at night, including character meals like Chef Mickey's.

One last tip: keep an eye for Special Offers, which sometimes include reduced room rates or even free dining plans. See you real soon!
