We are visiting Disney for the first time in October (5-12) four adults two children ages 8 and 4. Staying at the Port Orleans French Quarter. Approximately how long does it take to get back to the resort mid day for some downtime nap time?

    Hi Carrie!

Congratulations on your upcoming "first" visit to Walt Disney World Resort! October is a great time to visit.

I certainly understand the importance of taking a mid-day break, just to recharge so that you can do it all over again in a few hours.  If you are taking the bus, I would allot about 15-20 minutes to get back to your resort, however, if you are driving, I would allot about 10-15 minutes (depending on the traffic flow).

Please let us know if you have additional questions and have a great day!
