We will be visiting Disney for our first time this August.. We will be there the 15th thru the 19th and now i have been having lots of friends tell me we picked the worst time to go because its nothing but rain in August.. was wondering how true this was?

    Hi Crystal,

I have been to Walt Disney World many, many times in August and I would not say that it was rainy--I would say that it was hot!!!
Each year is different and the weather varies week to week / day to day.
If you are prepared with rain ponchos, umbrellas, you can still have a great time!
If you forget anything, you can always pick it up when you are there!

Check the long range weather forecast before you leave, so you can pack accordingly.

You will have a fantastic time!!  Don't worry about the weather--be excited that you are going!!!!

Thank you for your question, wishing you sunny skies!!

    Carrie
