We are visiting Disney for the first time this April with our 7 year old. We are staying at the Port Orleans-Riverside and are very excited. We will be receiving a gift certificate for Planet Hollywood, will we need a reservation?

Hello, my family and I have dined at Planet Hollywood a few times.  We had a great time and enjoyed the food and atmosphere very much.  The times that we have been there, we did not make reservations.  However, we had not gone to Downtown Disney with definite plans of where to eat.

That said, since you know this a place where you plan to eat, I would consider making reservations especially if you plan on dining during peak dinner hours.    Reservations can be made through Disney's main dining reservation line at  407-WDW-DINE.   If you are not exactly sure the time and date you plan to visit yes, I believe you will find flexibility in making reservation even on the day you plan to eat.   Enjoy!
