Hi Angela! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and sharing your questions with us!
Walt Disney World Resort works diligently to provide a safe and magical experience for all Guests. You will find several resources and tons of great information by visiting
Services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities. If you would like, you can download and print the
Guide for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities and take it with you to the theme parks. In it, you will find great resources including quiet areas for breaks in the theme parks.
When you arrive at a theme park, plan for your 1st stop to be at Guest Relations. There, your family will chat with a Cast Member to discuss information regarding the
Disability Access Service (DAS) and/or other accommodations available based on the needs of your nephew. The DAS allows Guests to schedule a return time rather than waiting in a conventional queue environment. DAS can be used in addition to making
FastPass+ selections and is a great service for Guests and their traveling party.
Please let me know if you need any other information as you plan your vacation. I know you and your family are going to have an amazing time at Walt Disney World Resort. Enjoy every magical moment!
