We’re visiting Disney in a few weeks time, currently have park reservations at MK and HS, where can I meet Donald Duck?

    Hello Erin,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney. You must be so excited for your Walt Disney World vacation. Before you know it, you'll be strolling down Main Street U.S.A., stopping to pose for a photo or two in front of Cinderella Castle, and heading off to create some magical memories!

Donald Duck is beloved by all! It's easy to see why you want to meet this member of the EARidescent 8: Donald, Daisy, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip, and Dale. These beloved characters travel down Main Street U.S.A. several times per day in Mickey's Celebration Cavalcade, all decked out in their 50th party best, created by Minnie herself, for The World's Most Magical Celebration!

Meeting Donald in Magic Kingdom may be a little tricky, although he is part of the Festival of Fantasy Parade and Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire in front of Cinderella Castle. Don't forget to catch Mickey's PhilharMagic where, despite the name, Donald is the star of the attraction! If you can get dining reservations at Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort, that will be your best bet for meeting Donald on your Magic Kingdom day.

Although Donald doesn't have a specific scheduled location for meet & greets, you'll usually find him on Hollywood Boulevard in Disney's Hollywood Studios on the Front Entrance Balcony. This may change as traditional character experiences start to return over the next few weeks. He's also one of the characters you can meet at Hollywood and Vine during lunch and dinner.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
    Diane

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
