I am visiting Disney on February 3-5, 2027. What is the cancellation policy for 2027 for Port Orleans French Quarter? Thank you.

Hello Donna, and welcome to planDisney!

I always hope that when it comes to changing plans for a dream vacation, we don’t have to change them quite as often as the weather changes for me here in my home state of Michigan! Mother Nature can’t seem to make up her mind here in the Midwest; I hope she has settled with springtime in your neck of the woods in South Carolina!

Now, about possible changes to your vacation plans. If you reserved your Disney Resort Hotel Package through the Walt Disney Travel Company, the current cancellation policy states that you will receive a full refund if you cancel the package deal at least 30 days before your arrival date.  If the cancellation is between 29 and 2 days, you’ll receive a refund minus a $200 penalty for each room reserved. If you cancel one day or less, the entire amount is non-refundable.

If you booked from someone other than the Walt Disney Travel Company, there could be additional cancellation fees, and you’ll need to check your current reservation details to find out those fees.

If you do need to change your plans, like my weather keeps changing here at my house, call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservation phone line and a friendly Cast Member will assist you with the cancellation.

Donna, I sure hope you can keep your current reservation at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter! It is absolutely my favorite moderate resort at Walt Disney World! Make sure you take some time to walk around the tranquil grounds and just look around and enjoy the sights and sounds of the resort!  It is so peaceful to walk along the Sassagoula River and watch the water taxis float by!  One of the hidden gems is Scat Cat’s Club Lounge that features live jazz music in a truly intimate setting!  And of course, there are those Mickey-shaped beignets at Scat Cat’s Club Cafe that are absolutely amazing! Such a fun resort!

Donna, have a magical trip, and don’t forget to enjoy a Mickey Bar or two!
