    We are visiting Disney from Feb. 12-19th. I have been trying for weeks to book our dining, and most restaurants are already booked up. I am finding this very disappointing and frustrating. Any tips on how to get into these places that we really want to try

    Hi Kimberly:

    With Advance Dining Reservations open 180 days in advance, it can be tough to get a reservation at your favorite restaurants at popular times. I would call back the Disney Dining Reservation line periodically. Sometimes you can take advantage of a cancellation. Also, let the reservationist know if you can eat early or late. Often, such flexibility can be a great help with snagging a hard-to-get reservation. If you are feeling lucky, you can always try to get a walk-up reservation while at the Park if any last-minute reservations opened up.

    If you really would like to revisit an old favorite restaurant or try a new one that is booked solid though your vacation, try making a lunch reservation instead of one for dinner. I've had great luck scoring lunch reservations at my favorite restaurants, some even last-minute.
