We are visiting Disney at the end of this month and have been told that the bus ride from the resort(movie resort) to the park can be LONG.Would it cut down on time to drive our own car from our resort to the park or is that not allowed? Thank you so much!

Hello and welcome to the Moms Panel! I am very excited to hear that your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the corner! You and your family must be thrilled, so we had better get started right away. You are certainly more than welcome to use your car to travel to the parks. You will be given a parking permit upon check-in so that you will not be charged as you enter into the parking lots for each Disney Theme Park. Personally, I enjoy using Disney Transportation. The buses run approximately every 20 minutes and, once onboard, the ride is aproximately 15-20 minutes. I would utilize Disney Buses the first day and decide it this is going to work for you. If you find it to be overwhelming, then I would definitely utilize your own car for the remainder of your trip. Thank you so much for visiting the Moms Panel. Please join us again real soon should any new questions or concerns pop-up. We are always ready to help our guests plan the vacation of a lifetime. May your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation be filled with many new and MAGICAL memories! ~Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON"!~
