I am visiting Disney during Oct 2016. We are not going to attend the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween (maybe next time we go), what time do we have to leave MK if we are not attending?

Hi Ashlee! The Magic Kingdom Theme Park at Walt Disney World is definitely full of fun during October. Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party takes over on many nights with lots of fun treats and very few tricks greeting the guests.

The special event party begins officially at 7pm on those designated nights. Guests who hold the special event ticket may enter the park as early as 4pm without purchasing a day ticket to the Magic Kingdom. All day guests must leave the park by 7pm. The cast members will begin sweeping the park around 6:30pm asking guests to show their event wrist band and if they do not have that they will be asked to head to the exit. Shops and dining are also closed to day guests at that time making Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party exclusive to those purchasing tickets.

If you have other choices for parks it is often best not to plan on the Magic Kingdom on a day when they hold a special event. This cuts your hours down quite a bit when you must leave by 7pm.
