    We are visiting Disney, December 15-23. Trying to make dinner reservations in the Animal Kingdom, but trying to avoid dining during the Rivers of Light show that we would like to see. Do you know what select days they do this show and about what time?

    Hello Terri! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    My family has been trying to see the Rivers of Light Nighttime Experience for a while know. Due to a variety of factors such as delays, Advanced Dining Reservations, etc., we have been unable to fit it into our schedules.

    As of today, the Rivers of Light Nighttime Experience has shows scheduled nightly through the summer and on select nights up to November 30th, 2017. Check back on the Rivers of Light page in the upcoming weeks as hopefully, dates and times throughout the holiday season and your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

    The final scheduled show for Rivers of Light Nighttime Experience has a start time of 6:30pm. I would think that if the show was to continue throughout December that it would continue to have a starting time of 6:30pm with the possibility of a later show being added during the busy Holiday Season.

    If you arranged Advanced Dining Reservations at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park for 5:00pm, I believe that would provide ample time to experience both a sumptuous meal and the Nighttime Extravaganza.

    You may be interested in looking into the Rivers of Light Dining Package that combines a meal at a Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park Dining Location with reserved seating for Rivers of Light Nighttime Experience. Like schedules, packages have not yet been released to Guests at this time but are definitely worth keeping an eye on.
