we are visiting Disney on the 17th of December, i have reservations for at least one meal a day, but are there any places just to go eat without reservation for breakfast? we are staying in the contemporary, and would like to just go eat? thanks

    Hi Larry,

My goodness your trip is nearly here!  I don't think I'd be able to sleep at nights I'd be so excited.

For breakfast at the Contemporary Resort, the Contempo Cafe is a counter service restaurant that will have breakfast offerings.  If you'd prefer a table service option, the Wave should be able to accommodate you without a reservation.  In fact, I did a quick check, and they had room for a party of 5 around 7:30 am (I just guessed a random party size to see about openings).

If you'd like to leave your resort to visit another just a short monorail ride away, the Kona Cafe at the Polynesian is an option. The Grand Floridian also has the Grand Floridian Cafe; and by the way, this resort is worth taking a peek at during the holidays!  Both of these restaurants had openings available similar to the the Wave. We've stopped by the Grand Floridian Cafe many times without reservations for breakfast and had no problem getting in.

Have a magical trip filled with many new memories!  Please let us know if we can help again.
