We are visiting Disney in December. Will the castle lighting and parades still be Christmas themed on nights they don't have Mickey's Christmas party?

    Hi Mary Ellen,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question. I absolutely love visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the Holidays because of how beautifully decorated the Theme Parks and Resorts are!

In previous years, on nights when Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party doesn’t take place at Magic Kingdom Park, there was still a presentation of the nightly Cinderella Castle lighting ceremony. That being said, the parade that took place on “non-Christmas Party nights” was usually the regular version of the Main Street Electrical Parade and of Wishes nighttime spectacular until a few days before Christmas Day when modified versions of Holiday Wishes and Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade are presented nightly. Don’t worry! No matter when you choose to visit in December, you’ll get a great dose of Christmas Magic with your Disney Magic!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
