Hi there, Michele, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're counting down to an exciting vacation at Walt Disney World Resort, where you'll ring in the new year! There's no place like the Most Magical Place on Earth to count down to midnight on New Year's Eve, and I'm so glad you're planning ahead for this incredible experience.
Michele, if you're planning to spend one day at each Disney Theme Park, I recommend having at least one day to rest at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel in the middle of your vacation. You could consider having your rest day on New Year's Day. I absolutely recommend spending New Year's Eve at
EPCOT, so plan to head there on December 31. When I plan for an action-packed vacation, I start with the
Hours & Events Calendar. Since you'll want to get a good night's sleep on December 30, consider going to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park that day because the current posted closing time is 6:00pm. That leaves Disney's Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom Park. Since the hours for those days are similar, you could visit them at any point.
When you visit EPCOT for New Year's Eve, you'll want to plan to arrive early in the day and stay there all day, since this park often reaches capacity on this exciting holiday. You might consider booking at least one
Advance Dining Reservation so that you have a dedicated break time. This way, you can relax and recharge so that you can finish the day strong and ring in the New Year with plenty of energy. Each country in the World Showcase celebrates the New Year in a unique way, so find which one is the most fun for you, and enjoy the festivities!
Michele, I hope this is helpful to you as you plan for your vacation. Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have!
See you real soon!
