Welcome to planDisney, Natalie! It looks like you've got a lot to be celebrating this
holiday season at the Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm happy to chat with you today to try to make your dad's birthday even more magical!
Natalie, while you cannot reserve a meet and greet with Mickey Mouse, I'd love to offer a few of my favorite locations where you can find him! Mickey is always happy to share in a special celebration, no matter where you find him, but be sure to stop by a
Guest Relations window and ask for a celebration birthday button for your dad to wear so that Mickey (and all his pals!) will know it's his special day!
As for those location recommendations, here are a few ideas:
- Book a meal where Mickey will come to your table; this guarantees a little extra one-on-one time with him, and I'm sure he'd love to help your family sing a round of "Happy Birthday" while he's there. Some great choices include Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort and Garden Grill at EPCOT.
- Adventurers Outpost in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park offers guests an opportunity to meet Mickey and Minnie together. The setup of this indoor meet and greet lends itself to a more personalized feel, and we always feel like we have ample time for hugs and photos when we stop by.
- You can also meet Mickey and Friends at EPCOT inside of Communicore Hall. I like this meet and greet location because they usually have PhotoPass photographers on hand to capture memories for you! Another great option is at Red Carpet Dreams in Disney's Hollywood Studios!
Here's one last bonus tip, Natalie: when you're in the parks, you can search for Mickey Mouse in the
My Disney Experience mobile app to get the most updated locations for meeting him on any given day! He's always out and about visiting with his guests, so I have no doubt you'll find him and enjoy a special birthday visit with him!
