We are visiting Disney California Adventure soon. Any recommendations for food? We also want to see World of Color- ONE. What do you recommend for viewing the show?

    Hi ya, Tiffany!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, I LOVE your question! Disney California Adventure Park has been totally supercharged this summer. You be the hero, I'll be the sidekick, and together we will find some epic adventures!

Food-wise, I have some great news: new options at Lucky Fortune Cookery should debut shortly before your visit! The online menu isn't updated just yet, but you can see what's coming in this handy Foodie Guide to San Fransokyo Square on the Disney Parks Blog. Please promise me that you'll sample that adorable Baymax Macaron! I expect these new offerings will be very popular, so I highly recommend a secret weapon...mobile ordering on the Disneyland Mobile App! In fact, I'd consider placing your order earlier in the day (you're welcome to choose a later return time) so that you can be sure to have a yummy meal later.

My other food favorites at Disney California Adventure are:

When it comes to viewing World of Color - ONE (which is all about the heroic difference one person can make in the world) there are three possible ways to snag a great viewing spot:

    • Join the Virtual Queue through the Disneyland Mobile App right at noon. It's like midnight, but with less sleep deprivation.
    • Make reservations for the World of Color Dining Package to have a yummy lunch or dinner (Wine Country Trattoria is one of the options!) and then access a specific viewing area.
    • The absolute best way to enjoy every moment of the show is by making reservations for the World of Color Dessert Party
The World of Color Dessert Party is an experience. Guests check in at the Eureka water wheel, on the path near Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Cast Members will assign you a table, then you're free to enjoy more attractions until you're ready to return to the best seat (yes, a seat!) in the park and a selection of savory and sweet snacks! With gorgeous images and music from favorite films (everything from Encanto to Star Wars to Marvel) it's the perfect end to a day in the parks.

There's one last hero that I don't want you to miss: Spider-Man! Check the "Entertainment" section of the map in the Disneyland Mobile App and grab a spot near the entrance to Avengers Campus a few minutes before showtime...you'll get to see one of my all-time favorite examples of Imagineering at work.

Tiffany, thanks for letting me be your sidekick today! Go have an adventure to remember!

    Keep moving forward!
