    Hi. We are visiting Disney in August. It is the first time for both my 12 yr old son and my husband. I was wondering what you would suggest for a dinner reservation. I am torn between either Ohana or The wave of American Flavors?

    Hi Karen,

    I'm very excited to hear you're visiting Walt Disney World Resort for the first time this year! If choosing between these two locations, I would vote 'Ohana. While The Wave offers an outstanding menu, the overall experience wins out for us at 'Ohana. You'll be transported to the Hawaiian Islands, with live music and Hawaiian delicacies. You can explore Disney's Polynesian grounds before dinner, and if dining during the hour of Magic Kingdom fireworks, the restaurant will turn down the lights and pipe in the fireworks soundtrack. Requesting a window seat will allow for extraordinary views of Seven Seas Lagoon.

    You won't be disappointed with either option, but 'Ohana provides a more magical ambience, in my opinion. Don't forget to book Advance Dining Reservations either online or by calling Disney Dining at 407-939-3463.
