    We are visiting Disney on August 17 for 10 days, we have purchased and paid our vacation, including the Standard Disney Dining Plan, on January. In case a free dinning offer comes for the dates of our trip can we get an upgrade in the ddp or in the hotel?

         Wow, It is so awesome that you are going to have a 10 day vacation in Walt Disney World!  If a free dining offer comes out for the dates that you will be in Walt Disney World, then you would have to re-book your vacation for the free dining offer.  Keep in mind that with a free dining offer there are certain stipulations that need to be met like a minimum nights of stay and a minimum days of park tickets.  Disney or a Disney certified travel agent can re-book your vacation for you without losing your Resort reservation.  If you decide to upgrade your Standard Disney Dining Plan you can pay the difference per person per night of stay for the Disney Dining Plan that you desire.

    I hope that your next Walt Disney World is truly amazing and even magical!
