Hi! We are visiting Disney Aug 13-19. Staying at YC... our plane is due to arrive around 10am on 8/13. Should we go to Epcot first thing or go to the pool in the afternoon and visit Epcot in the evening? Looking to avoid busiest time at Epcot. Thanks!

    Hello Eileen,
I'm so excited to know you're planning a wonderful summer vacation to the very beautiful Disney's Yacht Club Resort; it's one of my personal favorites.
I would think that enjoying a splashing good time at Stormalong Bay during the hot and sunny daytime hours might be a good plan.  Perhaps you then could arrange an early Advanced Dining Reservation for dinner at either your Resort, Disney's Beach Club Resort or at The Boardwalk and plan on spending the rest of the cooler and less busy evening hours exploring Epcot.
I expect you're already aware that Epcot is only a short easy stroll away from Disney's Yacht Club Resort, this means you'll be able to slip away easily after a viewing of the spectacular IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.
I'm sure whichever way you choose to spend your first day on vacation to Walt Disney World Resort it will be magical.
If I can help you further plan your August trip, please don't hesitate to come back and ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
